Quixotic

Quixotic is an innovation and technology company on a mission to create sustainable systems that reinvent the way conscious adventurers experience the outdoors. Their manta “live where you are” can be experienced with their fist product, the new Campworks NS-1 adventure camper. The immaculately designed, 100% solar powered overland trailer is the perfect balance between modern simplicity and outdoor functionality. I was brought in to design an identity system that captures Quixotic’s spirit and their mission to navigate a path to more conscious outdoor living systems.

 
 

The logo is inspired by the bravery of early navigators and their fearless spirit and curiosity to venture out into the world without knowing what wonders and discoveries await them. The Quixotic brandmark is inspired by a few elements all relating to the notions of navigation, adventure and discovery. These elements include the compass, Polaris and the forward rotation of the camper’s wheels which symbolizes progress towards sustainability. The compass needle at the center of the ‘Q’ is tilted at Earth’s axes of 23.5 degrees.
